It is a mere 2 hours 30 minutes to bustling Barcelona by high-speed train or perhaps travel south to Seville.

The Salamanca area, Madrid’s most upscale neighbourhood, will be our home in Madrid. We recommend that you check out Salamanca’s famous shopping district, Calle Serrano. This pedestrian-only street is lined with designer stores and luxury boutiques, making it the perfect place to indulge in a little retail therapy. You’ll also find some of the city’s best restaurants and cafes here, so be sure to stop and grab a bite to eat while you’re out and about. With its world-class shopping, art scene, and beautiful parks, there’s something for everyone in this vibrant neighbourhood. For more hustle and bustle, Madrid’s busy shopping street of Gran Via is only a 15-minute walk away.
To give our Dealers a true Spanish experience, we have selected two luxury Spanish owned and operated hotels. The hotels are within close walking distance of each other, and both are members of Leading Hotels of the World.
The Fénix was one of the first luxury hotels in Madrid. Sink into a red velvet banquette in the lobby with a cocktail and look up at the stained-glass dome to get a flavour of the hotel’s glamorous heritage. Guided Tour
The massive bright-white Royal Palace on the Plaza de Oriente dates from 1734, when the 3,000-roomed royal residence was commissioned by Philip V. The grandiose state apartments are filled with art treasures, antiques and opulent Rococo decor that could rival Versailles.

The Thyssen Bornemisza is an impressive art museum in Madrid. It is part of the so-called Golden Triangle of Art, which also includes the Prado and the Reina Sofia national galleries.
Monet, Degas, Van Gogh, Rembrandt, Van Eyck, Durer, Caravaggio, Canaletto, Gauguin, Hopper… these are just some of the great names whose works you can see in the museum.
The collection has almost 1000 paintings that span the history of art from the 13th right up until the 20th century.

You'll start at historic Puerta del Sol, continuing along the Calle del Arenal to Plaza de Opera, while your guide provides commentary on the Spanish capital city's history and architecture.

All flights for Dealer Convention 2024 will be booked individually, not as a group ticket, this will provide our Dealers with the best possible travel experience with online access to their bookings. Dealers will be flown on the most direct route to Madrid - Emirates, Qatar Airways and Etihad currently offer best access. Should a Dealer wish to fly on a different airline, they will be allocated an allowance of $3,000 per person including taxes for return Economy Flights to and from Australian capital cities. Regional dealers will continue to receive complimentary flights to and from Australian capital cities to connect with their international flight.
No flights are being held for our group. Please register for the event as soon as your sales qualify and secure your air travel.
Group airport transfers will be provided for Dealers who book their flights through Veritas on the main group arrival and departure dates.
Transfers to and from your home airport or outside the group flights are at your own discretion and expense.
*All Dealer airfares to be booked via Veritas. Flights will be assigned as registrations are received.
Madrid’s location as the capital of Spain offers endless options for an extension in Spain and other parts of Europe. Some Spanish destinations you may wish to consider are Barcelona, San Sebastian, Seville. We have also heard good things about the Galicia region. We will be sending out some suggested extension packages shortly and will send you a communication to advise you of this information.
Your airfares are normally “common rated” which means that you can fly into Madrid and return from another country or visa versa on the same airline. This is the advantage of using Emirates or Qatar Airways who have an extensive network.
